Terms of service

Last updated 26 October 2026. Questions: info@lifephant.app

These terms are an agreement between you and [Company legal name] ("we") for using Lifephant.

1. What Lifephant is, and isn't

Lifephant helps you organise commitments, dates and documents and reminds you about them. It is an organisational tool, not legal, financial, tax or insurance advice. Values marked "estimate" are guesses; always check important dates and amounts against the original documents. We aren't liable for missed deadlines, renewals or payments, though we work hard to make sure you don't miss them.

2. Your account

You must be 16 or older. You can start without an email; until you add one, your data is tied to your browser or device and may be lost if you clear it. Keep your sign-in email secure.

3. Your content

You own everything you upload. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service (see the Privacy policy). Don't upload content you don't have the right to share, or anything unlawful.

4. Plans, trials and payments

  • Free plan limits are shown in the app. Paid plans (Plus, Family) are billed monthly or yearly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
  • Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you won't be charged. We remind you before the trial ends.
  • Founding-member discounts apply for the stated period, then the regular price applies.
  • Cancel anytime in Settings → Manage subscription (web) or in your App Store / Google Play account (mobile). Access continues until the end of the paid period.
  • EU/UK consumers: you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a paid subscription. If you ask us to start the service during that period, you agree you will pay for the service provided until you withdraw. The free trial counts as the withdrawal period.
  • Prices may change; we'll tell you at least 30 days before a change applies to you.

5. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no reverse engineering, scraping, automated abuse, or attempts to access other users' data.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but can't guarantee uninterrupted service. Reminders depend on email and calendar providers outside our control. We may change features; if we remove something material from a paid plan, you can cancel and receive a pro-rata refund.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Ending the agreement

You can delete your data and stop using Lifephant at any time. We may suspend accounts that seriously breach these terms, after notice where reasonable.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [country of the operating company]. As a consumer you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
